Coffee Talk

I got to see my closest college buds last night. Always SO GOOD to be with them. We all live in different areas - in 3 different states. Man, I hate that.

We missed you, Beeks! Can't wait to see you in January.

For this get-together we decided to have all the hubbies and chillins (aka children) come too. A good idea in theory....There were 10 adults and 9 kids. We are almost out-numbered. And, while it was great to see the hubbies and kiddos, conversation was a bit difficult. :) Imagine a pause after every sentence to find out "Was that my child or yours?" "Who is yelling?" "Is he sharing?" "Is that your son in princess shoes?".

Yes, we love our families so very much... but we were ALL saying we couldn't wait for our next SEESTUR TRIP when we can be all girly, talk and talk and talk, drink coffee, eat and eat, and talk more WITHOUT the kids! Well, that is with the exception of a child or two that might be along since they are still nursing. But still.

Thankfully, the kids had a blast.

It was fun, but it really left me wanting more time with my girls!!
