Meal Plan Monday

I'm a little late posting, but here it is anyway!


My week's meal plan:

Monday: Chili & grilled cheese

Tuesday: leftovers from lunch with hubby at a Japanese steakhouse (whoohoo!)

Wednesday: Creamy Chicken Spaghetti - I LOVE this recipe from kraftfoods; garlic bread

Turkey Day: I'm getting off easy - my contribution will be my grandmother's recipe for Cranberry relish (recipe below). We usually have 2 turkeys (one baked, one smoked), mashed potatoes, GRAVY, corn pudding, grean beans, collards, stuffing, squash casserole, and an assortment of 3-4 desserts. For dinner, IF we are hungry after Thanksgiving lunch, we will eat leftovers.

Friday: Dinner on the road. We're going to Mike's grandfather's 90th birthday party.

Lucy's Cranberry Salad
2 – 3 oz cherry jello
1 ¼ C boiling water
6 ice cubes (stir in after jello disolves)

Stir in:
20 oz pineapple tidbits (undrained)
1 can mandarin oranges (drained)
2 apples (chopped, peeled optional)
1 can WHOLE cranberry sauce
1 c chopped pecans

Chill until well set.

Great menu plan.I didn't do one this week becausewe will be travelling most of it.I am going to try thr chicken spaghetti.It sounds very good.Have a Happy Thanksgiving and God Bless to you andyours!
