I am sick to death of the recalls. They are constantly popping up on the news. I feel like I have to check the websites all the time. We finally got back Jackson's Thomas trains. The trains that I shipped back to the maker had teeth marks all over the lead painted toys. Great. I've heard talk of families boycotting toys from China - sad the sheer volume of toys that they produce... it doesn't leave much options.
And now this - Aqua Dots recalled because they have the "date rape" drug in them. (Thanks for the info, Beth!) It has caused kids to vomit and go comatose. Holy Cow. I thought about getting Jack that for Christmas or Birthday.
I don't want to worry about every toy Jackson encounters. Something has to be done.

It is very scary. I've thought about taking all the "made in China" toys out of our toy box... I haven't decided yet, but I'm probably one more recall away from it. And yes, all our toys have been chewed on as well...
I totally agree- I had just heard about the aqua dots in bible study yesterday morning. This recall thing seems out of control- when will it stop???
